Being the first point of contact to our customers, you are responsible for achieving high levels of customer service & satisfaction.  You will work closely with the cashier and even share a common work station. You will drive sales by guiding purchasing decisions for first-time and repeat customers by: 

  1. Having up-to-date knowledge in mixing cocktails and creating new concoctions
  2. Keeping counter areas and workstations clean and organized
  3. Maintaining interaction with customers, problem solving, and resolving complaints
  4. Having sound knowledge of menu items 
  5. Perform opening and closing routines for shift
  6. Perform stocktaking of inventory
  7. Liasing with suppliers and making requisition of stock

Requirements:
Previous bartending experience, good interpersonal skills and attention to detail in food/service quality and cleanliness. Extra consideration given to those having a warm, outgoing personality, enthusiasm and a passion for providing great service. The ability to effectively communicate, solve problems and act decisively while maintaining a team player attitude is paramount.

     
 
   

Overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, service standards, food preparation, safety and sanitation. You will work closely with the Head Chef & the Bistro Manager to :

  1. Control the quality of food, in particular, signature dishes
  2. Control food cost, improve unit profitability
  3. Suggest menu for group bookings & assist in planning menu for special promotions   
  4. Maintain a clean work area, organized and properly stocked kitchen at all times
  5. Perform opening and closing routines for the kitchen
  6. Liasing with suppliers and making requisition of stock

Requirements:
Minimum 2+ years of experience in preparing western / fusion cuisine. Knowledge of health regulations for food safety and sanitation.

     
 
   

Acting as Hosts/ Hostesses, you will create a good impression of the bistro. You will maintain a pleasant personality and appearance, warmly welcome guests to ensure that service is prompt. Be courteous and ensure that the meal meets expectations by:

  1. Taking reservations / arranging parties and organize special services required
  2. Become knowledgeable on the menu and portion to be able to promote and suggestively sell food and beverage to increase revenue
  3. Ushering guests to seats, and provide menus
  4. Being knowledgeable of the electronic register to ensure accuracy & speed of orders taken
  5. Setting Tables, preparing mise-en-place ie:  linen, silver, glassware, and china to set tables including table pieces, side stands, and chairs
  6. Managing floor and station

Requirements:
Experience in similar capacity would be an added advantage but not necessary. Cash handling experience; written and verbal English language communication skills; and the ability to understand and respond to guest concerns in a friendly and positive manner.

     
 
   

Neat and well groomed wearing uniform provided, you will receive and process payments for the bistro in a friendly and courteous manner.  Honesty and integrity are a prerequisite. You must be able to use our POS Computer well. Balance register at the end of shift. You should have the following skills:

  1. Prepare bills correctly and efficiently, make changes correctly, make credit card transactions
  2. Trouble shoot if problems arise with machines / computers/ card transaction. Good contacts with credit card customer service centres
  3. Prepare auditors report for cost controller
  4. Hear fairly well in a noisy environment
  5. Stand for a minimum of 8 hours in a shift

Requirements:
Accounting back ground or experience in the similar capacity. Have cash handling experience; written and verbal English language communication skills; and the ability to understand and respond to guest concerns in a friendly and positive manner.
